Catalina is one of my favorite places in the world, and this book is a detailed history of the island's rich history, from its early days as home to Native Americans to today, where most of the island is preserved and unspoiled for future generations/5(4).

I purchased this book in Catalina at the museum. I enjoy the colorful history of catalina and have read several books about the island. This is a great book which details Renton’s Pasadena building, and on the Wrigley/Renton years in Catalina. A fabulous eco-friendly map that includes Santa Catalina Island, of the coast of California World Class Scuba and Snorkeling sites with complete description and guide to location, plus miles of Trans Catalina Trails, all roads used for hiking and biking.4/5(2).
